Gas Supply Agreement signed between Chevron Nigeria and Dangote

A long term agreement was entered into by Dangote Fertilizer Ltd.(DIL) with Chevron Nigeria Ltd. (CNL) for delivery if natural gas from Chevron's supply to the fertilizer plant.

 

The operations are soon to commence. Set to be commissioned by this year end, Dangote Fertilizer Limited is expected to produce three mmtpa of urea.

 

The fertilizer plant has a total capacity of three million tonnes per annum, with an area covering 500 ha.It consists of twin train, with every single train having a capacity of 1.5mn tonnes per annum of ammonia and urea.

 

DIL is looking forward to wider areas of operations in the oil and gas sector.
