Launch of Health Projects at Kisii hospital in Kenya

President Uhuru Kenyatta, Deputy President William Ruto and Opposition leader Raila Odinga pays a visit to Kisii County to launch health projects.
This is the first time that the three leaders will visit the county together on a development tour since the August 2017 General Election.
Kisii Governor James Ongwae said, "the President will begin several projects at the County Referral Hospital."

Tanzania’s heart institute is all set to treat more patients in 2019

Jakaya Kikwete Cardiac Institute (JKCI), plans to perform surgeries to more than 1,500 in its efforts to decrease the number of patients, who are broached to abroad for treatment.
The executive director of JKCI, Prof Mohamed Janabi, said that, "last year the institute conducted a total of 1,356 surgeries. Our main intention is to continue to save people's lives. Hopefully one day with the increasing cardiovascular treatment skills to our experts we will not be sending patients abroad."
Innovative data helping Africa to improve primary healthcare delivery

According to the World Health Organisation, primary healthcare involves allowing people at communities at the low level to understand health challenges that are difficult to achieving health-related Sustainable Development Goals.
Application of innovative data is also helping four countries in Sub-Saharan Africa in order to improve primary healthcare delivery.
